Wildlife by Will

There are lots of amazing parts about our trip but my highlight of the trip is the wildlife. If you are the type of person who doesn’t like birds I would move on, but if you have all day be my guest and read on!!

North America has some amazing wildlife such as birds, mammals, fish and insects.

When we first arrived we were just seeing deer and mosquito nothing else.

But as we got further into the trip we started to see moose, bears and lots of birds such as great blue herons, bald eagles and loons.

As I write this I’m gazing at a hummingbird dipping in and out from the feeder; I have been taking lots of photo’s.

We have seen: a white eared hummingbird, broad billed hummingbirds, magnificent hummingbird, Ruby throated hummingbird, costa’s hummingbird, Anna’s hummingbird, black chinned hummingbird, broad tailed hummingbird and a rufous hummingbird – they are amazing creatures!

As well as lots of birds we have also seen black bears, grizzly bears, elk, bison, mule deers, whales, orcas, seals, white tailed deer and much more!

We went out on a bird spotting day yesterday where we saw lots of house finches and bridle titmouse. The only hawk we saw was a coopers hawk. I have got really into birding like my granddad.

North America has wonderful wild life I’m so glad we came here instead of Australia. I hope you have enjoyed my blog and I hope you will have the opportunity to do a trip like mine.
